Training camp continues for the Miami Dolphins, with their eighth practice held this morning. This is the last practice before the team’s scrimmage at Hard Rock Stadium - and hopefully it is a little less...newsworthy?...as yesterday’s practice.

The Dolphins will get back on the field today with questions still swirling about the status of quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s left knee. Yesterday, Tannehill rolled to his right and headed for the sideline. Just before he got there, he planted his left foot, and immediately hopped up off it before collapsing to the ground. MRI tests on the knee, the same knee the quarterback injured last year, were inconclusive, and there is debate over whether surgery will be required or if rest and rehab could get Tannehill back on the field in six to eight weeks.

Miami also appears to have lost guard Ted Larsen for a lengthy period, and possibly the season, with what is suspected to be a torn biceps muscle.

The Dolphins start their eighth practice of training camp at 8:20am. Here’s to a healthy day.
