Jordan Phillips was supposed to be the answer at defensive tackle. But Davon Godchaux had something to say about that. The rookie has been starting next to Ndamukong Suh and has played some impressive football in the team’s first two preseason games. Not much was expected of Godchaux this season, but the rookie may be set up to be a big contributor this coming season.
