Draymond Green visits Dolphins training camp

New, comment
NBA: Finals-Cleveland Cavaliers at Golden State Warriors Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Dolphins had a visitor at their training camp practice on Sunday, with Draymond Green watching the workout. The Golden State Warriors power forward spent time speaking with head coach Adam Gase and Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino, watched the practice, then spoke with the team at the end of practice.

A two-time NBA champion, Green was in Miami for Saturday Night’s International Champions Cup match between Real Madrid and Barcelona, the first time El Classico had been held in the United States. That game, which Barcelona won 3-2, was held in the Dolphins’ Hard Rock Stadium.

Green and Dolphins defensive end Andre Branch are friends, and Green also has a relationship with Dolphins owner Stephen Ross through RISE, the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality). Green is on the RISE Advisory Board.

The Dolphins will finish their first week of training camp on Monday with a practice open to the public. For information on tickets to the practices, as well as the full schedule of public practices, check out our Dolphins training camp primer here.
