Dolphins rookies report for training camp

Football is getting closer.

The Miami Dolphins held their soft opening for their 2017 training camp on Thursday as the rookies began reporting to the team’s Davie, Florida training facilities. The grand opening of camp will come next week when the veterans report on Wednesday, with the first practice scheduled for Thursday.

The Dolphins rookies are headlined by their draft class, including defensive end Charles Harris selected in the first round. The rookies will likely spend the rest of this week and into next week working on film study and classroom work.

The Dolphins’ preseason game schedule will begin on August 10 when they host the Atlanta Falcons. All Dolphins preseason games will be shown live on CBS in the Miami area. The Dolphins at Philadelphia Eagles game in Week 3 will be live on NFL Network across the country. The full schedule of all four games is:
