A few days ago, the 30-day challenge here on The Phinsider asked you for your most hated opposing player the Miami Dolphins have had to face. Now, we turn it around. Who is the player that you respect(ed) the most that the Dolphins face?

If you haven’t seen one of our last 30-day challenge articles, it is simply our way to get to know some of your thoughts on the Miami Dolphins. We are asking a question every day for 30 days, with the goal of getting all of our readers involved in the discussion. If you haven’t ever posted a comment on the site before - now would be a great time to get in here and join us.

I have two answers to this question, and I have gone back and forth on which one I would choose. Both players are quarterbacks, and both were AFC East rivals of the Dolphins. The first is Jim Kelly for the Buffalo Bills, and the other is Peyton Manning from the Indianapolis Colts (and Denver Broncos). As frustrating as it was to see them twice a year - and it was nice when the Colts were moved out of the AFC East so the Dolphins were not facing Manning twice every season - they both were amazing players, and they were respect-worthy.

Of course, this question does not require the player to have been a division rival of the Dolphins. You could pick someone like Walter Payton from the Chicago Bears, because who does not respect Payton (by the way, he ran for 121 yards on 23 carries in that 1985 epic game against the Dolphins where Miami won to prevent the Bears from completing an undefeated season). Or maybe you are looking at someone like Joe Montana or even current hated rival Tom Brady.

Your turn. Who is your most respected opposing player the Miami Dolphins have faced?
