After trading back in the seventh round, the Dolphins selected wide receiver Isaiah Ford out of Virginia Tech. The team was also able to get the Buccaneers seventh round pick for next year.
Let’s take a look at what Dolphins Twitter is saying about the selection.
New Dolphins receiver Isaiah Ford was projected as a fourth or fifth round receiver. He's 6-foot-1, 194 pounds, but ran a 4.64 40-time.

Ford reminds me of Parker or Lippett in terms of body and game in college long good in air

Obviously, running a 4.61 at the Combine, Ford seems to project as a slot receiver.

Every time I've ever watched Va Tech, Isaiah Ford has stood out. He's a good player with some good upside. #Dolphins #NFLDraft #NFLDraft2017

I was higher VaTech's Isaiah Ford than NFL teams. I knew that coming in
