Week 2 of our series of flash polls building the Miami Dolphins roster is up now. The Week 1 poll decided to have the Dolphins host the New York Jets to open the season.
I made a change to our presumed bye week positioning, moving it back to Week 9. I had missed the Dolphins requested that their bye week not be after the London game. They would instead like to host a home game in Week 5, with the bye week in the middle of the season. I just picked Week 9 as the “middle” of the season - but the league will put it wherever they choose to put it.
Below, you will find a poll (sorry Google AMP and Apple New users, as the system will strip the poll for those formats), allowing you to vote for who you think the Dolphins’ Week 2 opponent should be. Due to the NFL’s rotating schedule system, we know the home and away games for Miami, including the opponents to be played. We also already know that in Week 4, the Dolphins will be “hosting” the New Orleans Saints in London. .
Here are Miami’s 2017 opponents:
Dolphins 2017 home opponents
AFC East division rivals (home-and-home series)
AFC West
NFC South
New Orleans Saints (in London)
AFC South (Same position in respective divisions)
Dolphins 2017 away opponents

And, here is our fan built schedule. We will update it in each subsequent post, building the schedule as we would like to see it.
