Former Buffalo Bills linebacker Zach Brown, who has received free agent offers from the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders, will now be taking a visit with the Washington Redskins, according to ESPN’s John Keim. Brown also visited with the Buffalo Bills, but reportedly was not considering their offer.
The Raiders’ original offer was described as “disrespectful,” though the team could have increased their offer since that initial meeting back in mid-March. He then met with the Dolphins, who have seemed interested in landing him as the third starting linebacker for the team, but do not seem to be interested in increasing their offer above their internally-set price point.
Brown spent the first four years of his career with the Tennessee Titans before joining the Bills last year on a one-year contract. He recorded 149 tackles with four sacks, one interception, and two forced fumbles last season. He was also selected to the Pro Bowl for the first time.
