Adam Gase calls the offensive plays on gameday, but that doesn't mean he wants to spend most of the week with his offense. Gase learned last season how to manage his time and he wants to start spending more time with the defense and new defensive coordinator Matt Burke. Even with a new coordinator, the defensive scheme isn't expected to change that much as the team has preached about keeping continuity.
