It looks like the Dolphins will be losing one of there own as Dion Sims is set to sign with the Chicago Bears. The Dolphins wanted very much to keep Sims in Miami but it appears he has received a better offer from Chicago.
Bears are closing in on an agreement with TE Dion Sims, source says. Dolphins had wanted to retain him and Bears checked with other FA TEs.

Sims was drafted in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He was valuable as a blocker and receiver during his time here. He recorded 74 receptions, 699 receiving yards, and 8 touchdowns during his career in Miami.
Adam Gase liked Sims so much that he believed he could be the teams starting tight end. However, the team ended up trading for Julius Thomas which means Sims would stay as the number two. The Dolphins will most likely look for a tight end now in free agency or the draft.
