Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.

The Dolphins locked up one of their own yesterday as the team announced that Andre Branch would be returning with a new three-year deal. Branch played a pivotal role on the Dolphins defense and had a career resurgence after signing a one-year deal with the team last offseason. The Dolphins still need to add depth to the d-end position but keeping Branch was a major priority for the team.

Kenny Stills is also returning to the team. Stills scored 9 touchdowns last season and was expected to be playing for a different team next season. However, Stills has returned and the wide receiver corps will be together again as Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker, and Stills all complement each other.

You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day's round-up below.

Adam Gase plays huge role in Miami Dolphins’ fast free agent start
The thing about this Adam Gase is, he relates to everyone. I've seen the Miami Dolphins coach relate to a free-thinking Arian Foster, a free-spirited Damien Williams, an introspective Kenny Stills, a frustrated Mario Williams and a bad-tempered Ndamukong Suh. All in the same practice.
