NFL Draft 2017: Jabrill Pepper to Miami Dolphins?

On March 2nd, it was reported that the Miami Dolphins were unsure if safety Isa Abdul-Quddus would be able to play in the upcoming 2017 season. The team could look to free agency to help fill that hole, but head coach Adam Gase has made it clear how he feels.

This brings us to the NFL Draft. Miami currently holds the 22nd pick and could look to draft a linebacker or tight end. However, a different route the team could go is safety. The player that immediately comes to mind? The versatile Jabrill Peppers.

Drafting Peppers would mean the Dolphins have a safety, punt returner, kick returner, and possible offensive weapon in multiple packages that I am sure Gase would love to have. The Michigan standout had a fantastic day at the NFL Scouting Combine. If you did not see it, just check this photo out.

WOW!

This man is a special athlete. I grew up near Jabrill Peppers. I watched him compete at Don Bosco and Paramus Catholic as a track and football star. He was on a different stratosphere as everyone around him. Peppers won 4 state championships in football, which I didn't think was possible. No one could match his level. He would run the 400M in track with ease and clock in at 50.43, while his competitors came in 2 seconds after that.

Peppers even took the SAT at my high school located in the northern part of New Jersey. I saw him everywhere. I can promise you one thing. His work ethic matches what Gase is looking for and the fit would be ideal for both Peppers and the entire Dolphin organization.

How would you feel if Peppers became a member of the Miami Dolphins?
