The Splash Zone 3/22/17: Dolphins Sign Kiko Alonso To A Four-Year Deal

One of the Dolphins priorities this offseason was to get Kiko Alonso locked up into a long-term deal and the team did that yesterday. The deal is for four years, $28.8 million with $18.5 million guaranteed. Alonso was a restricted free agent and was tendered at the first-round level. Alonso had a bounce back year after the team traded for him. His play went downhill near the end of the season, but that was due to playing with a cast (club) on as he dealt with a hand injury.
