Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.

The Dolphins were lacking in the tight end department and it's no surprise that the team may be looking to upgrade there. Jordan Cameron was placed on injured reserve and Dion Sims, though he showed some flashes, was more of a run blocker and both are set to be free agents. Adam Gase has stated that he would love to have Sims back and maybe use him as the No.1 tight end. But there may be a better option. Martellus Bennett is set to be a free agent and if the Patriots don't retain him, he is going to cash in. The Dolphins could use a play making tight end and Gase knows him from Chicago.

You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day's round-up below.
