According to multiple reports, Julius Thomas will become a Miami Dolphin after all. Earlier today, reports indicated Thomas would not become a member of the team due to complications with his contract.
However, it seems the teams were able to work the details out. The Dolphins will give away a late-round 2017 draft pick for the tight end. Ever since signing with the Jaguars, he has not lived up to the hype. In the past two years, Thomas has only recorded 9 touchdowns compared to his 24 he had with the Broncos while Adam Gase was still there.

Since Gase knows Thomas’ strength and weaknesses, I predict the veteran tight end to return to his old ways with multiple breakout games. This trade has the potential to be a hit or miss, but only time will tell how Gase plans to utilize him.
Do you think this trade will be a hit or a miss?
