Jason Taylor to receive Hall of Fame ring on Sunday

Pro Football Hall of Fame

Miami Dolphins legendary defensive end Jason Taylor will officially receive his Hall of Fame ring on Sunday in a halftime ceremony of the team’s game against the Denver Broncos. Taylor was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August, entering the ranks of the best players to ever play the game in his first year of eligibility.

Taylor recorded 139.5 sacks in his career, 131 of them with the Dolphins. He is also the NFL record holder for most fumble recoveries returned for a touchdown. He played 13 seasons for the Dolphins, along with one year with the Washington Redskins and one year with the New York Jets. He was selected to six Pro Bowls during his career and was named a First-Team All-Pro three times. He led the league in sacks in 2002, recording 18.5. The Dolphins selected Taylor in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft out of Akron.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame gave us a preview of Taylor’s ring, which was designed by Kay Jewelers.
