The NFL’s Week 14 schedule concluded last night with the Miami Dolphins beating the New England Patriots 27-20. While the final score seemed fairly close, the game never felt that way, with Miami leading for all but about 2:45 of the game. With the loss, the Patriots fell to a game behind the Pittsburgh Steelers in the race for the top spot in the AFC playoff picture, while the Dolphins have climbed to within a game of a Wildcard spot.
On Monday, we updated the playoff picture for both the AFC and NFC, with the Monday night game to play. Now, we update the AFC side of the bracket with the results from Miami’s win. No seeding changed from the previous update, but the records show how close Miami is to being able to make the playoffs two years in a row.
Next up for the Dolphins will be the first of two games against the Buffalo Bills, with a Kansas City Chiefs contest in between those games.
