Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler has been recognized for his performance during the team’s Sunday Night Football game against the Oakland Raiders last week. Cutler threw for 311 yards on 34-for-42 passing (81.0 percent completions) with three touchdowns in the team’s losing effort. He had a passer rating of 121.3.

Cutler’s win will result in a $2,000 donation from FedEx to The USO in Cutler’s name.

Joining Cutler in the FedEx honors for this week is New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara, who won the Ground Player of the Week. Kamara totaled 152 yards from scrimmage with two touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.

The Dolphins lost to the Raiders 27-24 on Sunday. Cutler returned to the Miami offense after missing the team’s Thursday Night Game the week prior with broken ribs.

The FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week awards are fan-voted awards based on each week’s individual performances.
