NFL winners picks straight up in Week 5

The NFL’s Week 5 slate of games is here, and so are my straight-up winners picks for this weekend. This week’s picks started off poorly, with me missing the New England Patriots at Tampa Bay Buccaneers game. Typically, I try to pick the home team in Thursday Night Football, but I nearly broke that rule to select New England - and probably should have done it. Oh well, hopefully the rest of the week makes me overlook that move.

Below, you will find the results of my picks from last week, as well as my season record. I am at 70 percent correct picks for the year, so I need to pick it up a little bit. Here is to a good Week 5.
