The Miami Dolphins finally play a game at Hard Rock Stadium, the first true home game for the team this year. Their last game in their home stadium was 52 days ago, in the Preseason Week 2 slate of game - and it is now Week 5 of the regular season. It has been a strange start to the season for the Dolphins.
Joining Miami in South Florida will be the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, who will be facing a “game-time decision” on whether or not starting quarterback Marcus Mariota, who is dealing with a hamstring issue, will be able to play. If he cannot go later today, the team will start Matt Cassel in his place.
Will the Dolphins bounce back after two less-than-spectacular performances in Weeks 3 and 4? Will the Titans come back after losing 57-14 last weekend?
This game could be the Dolphins debut for Rey Maualuga, who may find himself inserted into the starting lineup at middle linebacker. The Dolphins signed the veteran linebacker when rookie Raekwon McMillan was lost for the year with an ACL tear, but Maualuga has needed conditioning time, as well as time to recover from a hamstring issue. It appears the team will have him out on the field Sunday, and he should bolster a defense that has actually been pretty good early this season.
As always, we have everything you need to watch the game below:
