Monday Night Football: Washington Redskins @ Philadelphia Eagles Live Thread & Game Information

This weeks Monday Night Football game features two NFC East teams. The 3 and 2 Washington Redskins who travel to take on the 5 and 1 Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have started off the 2017 season strong with their only loss thus far coming to the Kansas City Chiefs in week two. Otherwise, the Eagles already have one win over the Redskins in week one. They then followed up their loss in week two with a string of victories over the New York Giants, the Los Angles Chargers, the Arizona Cardinals and the Carolina Panthers. The Eagles currently sit alone in 1^st place in the NFC East, a position they will hold on to this week with or without a win this evening.

Besides their week one loss to the Eagles the Redskins also have a week four loss to the Chiefs. Otherwise, the Redskins have victories over the Los Angles Rams, the Oakland Raiders and the San Francisco 49ers. The Redskins, coming into the night hold onto 2^nd place in the NFC East. A loss to Philly this evening would leave them in second place but then in a tie with the Dallas Cowboys. A win would allow them to hold on to sole possession of second place while also moving them one game closer to the Eagles in first.
