The Dolphins come into this weeks game over .500 after their surprising victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta. After a few weeks where the Dolphins offense struggled to score at all at times they managed an unlikely comeback, down 17-0 at halftime they rebounded, scored two touchdowns in the third quarter and took the game 20 to 17. Miami currently sits at 3 and 2, giving them third place in the AFC East behind the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots.

Despite easily handling the Dolphins in week three of the season the Jets come into the week with a worse record at 3 and 3, leaving them in 4^th place in the AFC East. Besides their victory over the Dolphins, the Jets also won in week 4 and 5 over the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Cleveland Browns. Those three wins have been evenly balanced by their three losses in weeks one and two to the Buffalo Bills and the Oakland Raiders and again last week to the New England Patriots.
