This weeks Thursday Night Football matchup features the Philadelphia Eagles and the Carolina Panthers. Philly enters the night at 4 and 1, currently holding onto 1st place in the NFC East. The Eagles won their week one game against the Washington Redskins before dropping their second contest to what is now the only undefeated team in the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs. Since their only loss, the Eagles have ripped off three in a row taking down the New York Giants, the Los Angles Chargers, and the Arizona Cardinals in order.
The Panthers come into the night in identical shape as the Eagles record wise having gone 4 and 1 in their first 5 games which currently has them sitting in 1st place in the NFC South. The Panthers began the season by winning their first two games over the San Francisco 49ers and the Buffalo Bills before dropping their third game to the New Orleans Saints. Carolina rebounded from their only loss to then defeat the New England Patriots and the Detroit Lions.
