The NFL’s Wildcard Weekend continues to progresses toward this afternoon’s Miami Dolphins at Pittsburgh Steelers game. This will be a re-match of the Dolphins’ 30-15 win over Pittsburgh in Miami back in Week 6. That game was the spark that led to a six-game winning streak for the Dolphins and moved them from 1-4 on the team to 7-4 and in position to claim a Playoff berth. The Dolphins finished the season 9-2, including the winning streak, to land in the sixth seed.
Meanwhile, the Steelers lost four-games in a row over a five-week span, starting with that loss to Miami. They then went on a seven-game winning streak to end the regular season, finishing with the AFC North division championship and the third-seed in the postseason tournament.
Pittsburgh will be looking to avenge that Week 6 loss, and will specifically be looking to make sure Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi does not pick up 200 yards on the ground against them again. Miami will likely be looking to find that same type of rushing success as they deal with the cold weather and injured starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill missing a fourth-straight game.
