Each week, I will take a look at different mock drafts around the internet to see who the experts believe the Dolphins will select with their pick.

O.J. Howard

Biography

College: Alabama

Height: 6’6

Weight: 242

Hometown: Prattville, Alabama

First off, I would like to begin by saying I would be shocked if Howard falls to the 22nd spot. The kid can flat out play and I struggle to figure out why Alabama hardly got him involved in the game plan. I hate Nick Saban, but maybe he didn't play him so he could fall to Miami and become a star to make amends with the fans.

Right here is the main reason I would be ecstatic if we selected him. As you can see, he possess incredible speed for a tight end and would immediately become a threat in the Miami offense. Tannehill loves his quick drops and Gase could get very creative every week.

As for his run blocking abilities, he is also excellent in that department. In the video above, he plays until the whistle driving the defender towards the sideline. If paired up with Dion Sims and a healthy offensive line, Jay Ajayi could have himself another great season.

Howard does not allow defensive end to set the edge allowing the back to get a first down.

The guy can also make crucial plays on a big stage.

He also did the same thing in this year’s National Championship. He had 208 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

Would you be happy if the Dolphins selected Howard or disappointed?
