Dolphins depth chart 2016: Predicting the updated depth chart following waiver claims

We update our predicted Miami Dolphins depth chart following Sunday’s waiver claims.

This past Sunday, the team completed a waiver claim and the subsequent release to make roster space, as well as signing most of their practice squad. We take a look at those moves with an updated depth chart projection:

Quarterbacks:

1st Team: Ryan Tannehill
2nd Team: Matt Moore
3rd Team: Brandon Doughty

Running backs:

1st Team: Arian Foster
2nd Team: Jay Ajayi
3rd Team: Isaiah Pead (Injured)
Others: Kenyan Drake, Damien Williams

Wide Receivers:

1st Team: Jarvis Landry, Kenny Stills
2nd Team: DeVante Parker, Leonte Carroo
3rd Team: Justin Hunter, Jakeem Grant

The change to the roster occurred with the wide receivers, where Justin Hunter was claimed off waivers from the Tennessee Titans. Griff Whalen was then released in order to create the roster spot. Hunter slides into the depth chart in the same spot Whalen was previously projected to hold.
