The Miami Dolphins will pare their roster down to the 53-man regular season roster limit on Saturday, making the final cuts before the 4pm ET deadline. The day will be filled with tough decisions throughout the roster. We have been working over the past day to breakdown each roster position and determine who will make the cut, who will be on the practice squad, and who will be cut. We continue that with the special teams positions.
Safely on the roster: John Denney, Matt Darr, Andrew Franks
On the bubble: None.
This is the easiest group of the roster to predict - simply because there are only three guys on the roster, one in each position. Kicker Andrew Franks and long snapper John Denney both fought through a position battle that was ended earlier in the summer. All three positions will be the same as last year, with Franks and Darr looking to improve after their rookie campaigns, Darr has been impressive all summer, able to pin the ball deep into opponents territory seemingly at will.
53-man roster prediction: John Denney, Matt Darr, Andrew Franks
Practice squad: None.
Cut: None.
Roster total: 53 of 53
Practice squad total: 10 of 10
