The Miami Dolphins head north to face a team from Ohio for the second straight week later tonight when they kickoff against the Cincinnati Bengals. Last week, they beat the Cleveland Brown 30-24 in overtime, and will be looking to pull themselves back to .500 with a sweep of the Ohio franchises. Tonight’s game will be nationally televised, but will you get to see it?
Most of the Thursday Night Football games this year are simulcast on NFL Network and either CBS or NBC. Not this game, however, which will only be available on NFL Network. Unless you live in the Miami or Cincinnati markets, where the game will air on CBS, you will need NFL Network access tonight.
And, do not expect Twitter to help you this week. Where the past couple of Thursday Night Football was live streamed on Twitter, this week is not included in that broadcasting deal between the league and the social media platform. The only way to stream this game will be using the Verizon NFL Mobile app. The Twitter streams only occur with the games that are simulcast on CBS or NBC.
On a side note, this exact same situation will happen with the Dolphins’ Saturday, December 17 game at the New York Jets, which will again be an NFL Network only broadcast, with no Twitter stream.
Kickoff for the game is at 8:25pm ET tonight. You can find everything else you want to know about the game, to include weather, odds, and the all-time head-to-head record between the clubs, by clicking here.
