It is scrimmage day for the Miami Dolphins as they take the field for their eighth practice of the 2016 training camp. Usually, the annual night scrimmage is held at the team’s stadium, with fans welcome to come to the event. This year, however, with the stadium still finishing renovations, the event is being held at the team’s training facility, and is not open to the general public.
That said, there will still be plenty of things to learn tonight. Can the offensive line start to come together in a more “game-like” situation? How will the cornerbacks handle a more intense test? Will anyone jump up to force a position battle where there has not been one previously or one that was expected has not appeared to materialize (Jordan Phillips?)?
Practice eight is an invite only practice and will start at 6:30pm ET. The Dolphins will not hold another practice open to the general public until Monday.
