The Splash Zone 8/19/16: Dolphins Activate Rookie Xavien Howard

Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.

After suffering a minor knee injury on the final day of minicamp, Xavien Howard is officialy off the PUP list. Howard was expected to battle for the starting spot across from Byron Maxwell. With the missed time, he is going to work for that starting spot. Tony Lippett has been starting in place of Howard. Howard is still going to take some time to develop but I don't see a reason why he won't be a starter here soon.
