Training Camp Battles: Who Did the Phinsider Choose to Win Each Battle?

Using the polls from the 6 installments of the Training Camp Battles series, let's find out where we stand as a group.

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Just in case you smoked peyote for 6 straight weeks, we've been talking training camp and who will win the most important positions on the 2016 Miami Dolphins depth chart:

Training Camp Battles #1: Xavien Howard vs. Tony Lippett

Training Camp Battles #2: Leonte Carroo vs. Kenny Stills

Training Camp Battles #3: Jordan Phillips vs. Earl Mitchell

Training Camp Battles #4: Right Guard

Training Camp Battles #5: Kenyan Drake vs. Damien Williams

Training Camp Battles #6: Jelani Jenkins vs. Neville Hewitt

I attached a poll to each battle and asked my Phinsider brethren: who will win the starting position and/or win the most snaps?

Here's how we voted:

  • Training Camp Battle #1: Xavien Howard (36%) vs. Tony Lippett (51%)
  • Training Camp Battle #2: Leonte Carroo (52%) vs. Kenny Stills (41%)
  • Training Camp Battle #3: Jordan Phillips (87%) vs. Earl Mitchell (6%)
  • Training Camp Battle #4: Kraig Urbik (32%) vs. Billy Turner (31%) vs. Jermon Bushrod (22%) vs. (Jamil Douglas 11%)
  • Training Camp Battle #5: Kenyan Drake (62%) vs. Damien Williams (24%)
  • Training Camp Battle #6: Jelani Jenkins (59%) vs. Neville Hewitt (33%)
Anybody see an "out of nowhere" battle that becomes more interesting? (My dark horse would be Jake Stoneburner competing with Dion Sims for TE #2).

Have we learned anything new that would change our initial projections?

Anybody surprised by the findings?

A clink clink of the bottles as we cheers to the approach of training camp! It's 3 1/2 short weeks away. Enjoy your families. Go on vacation. Or just sit around and drink beer. Football will be here soon. Mwahahaha…yes...YES!!!
