The Miami Dolphins get back on the practice field for the third time in the 2016 training camp period. Day one featured the offense looking fairly sharp, while day two saw the defense step up a little more. Which side will come out on top in day three?
Miami made some roster moves on Saturday after practice, activating cornerback Bobby McCain from the Physically Unable to Perform list, as well as signing free agent cornerback Rashaan Melvin and waiving tight end Jake Stoneburner.
On the Dion Jordan watch front, following his reinstatement from suspension on Friday, Jordan was in the team facilities on Saturday, but under the NFL’s conditional reinstatement rules, was not allowed to practice. The team and Jordan have to show the NFL that he has resources established in the Miami area to assist him in treatment for his past substance abuse issues before the league will authorize him to practice.
Day three will again feature fan and reporter observations and analysis starting with the 8:35am ET practice. Today’s workout is open to the public.
