Miami Dolphins legendary defensive end Jason Taylor is returning to the team, this time as a radio broadcaster, the Dolphins announced on Friday. He will serve as a part of the franchise’s preseason broadcast team, working along side Joe Rose and Jimmy Cefalo. Dolphins preseason radio coverage will be available on 560 WQAM and KISS 99.9 in Miami. The coverage will also be streamed on Dolphins.com and will be available across South and Central Florida on the Miami Dolphins Radio Network.

Taylor has some studio experience, serving as an analyst on multiple ESPN shows during the 2012 season. He made regular appearances in 2014 on NBC Sports’ Pro Football Talk and in 2015 he worked on SiriusXM NFL Radio’s weekly show. He also served as a broadcast analyst during the University of Georgia versus University of Florida college football game for Westwood One Sports in October 2015.

The Dolphins’ third-round draft pick in 1997, Taylor played 13 seasons for the club, along with a one-year stint with the Washington Redskins and one year with the New York Jets. He is sixth all-time in the NFL with 139.5 sacks, first on the Dolphins’ list with 131.0 sacks, and he holds the NFL record for fumble return touchdowns with six. He was the 2006 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and the 2007 Walter Payton Man of the Year. Taylor was selected to six Pro Bowls and was a four-time First- or Second-Team All-Pro selection.

The announcement was made during the Dolphins’ newly-launched studio show, “The Audible,” hosted by Kim Bokamper, which debuted on Friday.
