Two Miami Dolphins players cracked the top 50 players in quarterly sales for the first quarter of 2016, according to the NFL Players Association. The listing uses total sales of all officially-licensed NFL player merchandise from March 1 through May 31, 2016.
The list begins with three Dallas Cowboys players, starting with wide receiver Dez Bryant coming in the first position. According to the NFLPA, this is the first time since the association began compiling statistics of merchandise sales in 2013 that a non-quarterback has topped the quarterly Top 50 list. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is second on the list followed by running back Ezekiel Elliott. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers ends the Cowboys’ run by coming in fourth, only to have Cowboys tight end Jason Witten claim the fifth position.
The Dolphins see their first player on the list at the 34th position, where wide receiver Jarvis Landry is positioned. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill also makes the ranking, coming in at the 41st position.
Do you own something representing either of those players?
