Dolphins’ Ndamukong Suh is the fourth highest rated defensive tackle in Madden 17

EA Sports

As we inch closer and closer to Madden’s official release on August 23rd, EA starts to release their player ratings. Over the last several days days, EA has released their top-five players at the following positions; QB, HB, WR, TE, OL, and DE.

The Dolphins have two former players on the list above. Houston Texan’s running back Lamar Miller is the fifth highest-rated running back in Madden. He beat out rookie phenom Todd Gurley to finish in the top five. Miller is rated an 88 overall, a number that would be significantly lower if he were still on the Miami Dolphins. Former defensive end Oliver Vernon also finished in the top five, and Madden developers believe he is one of the league’s best defensive ends. Cameron Wake and Dion Jordan were nowhere to be found on the list.

When Madden 17 drops and everyone rushes to select the Miami Dolphins, who is the one player you hope to use when feasting on opposing quarterbacks? Who is the one player in the world, you would like to see destroy Tom Brady?!?!?!

His name is Ndamukong Suh.

Top five defensive tackles in Madden 17

1. Aaron Donald (98 overall)

2. Geno Atkins (94 overall)

3. Fletcher Cox (93 overall)

4. Ndamukong Suh (93 overall)

5. Kawaan Short (92 overall)

Suh is the fourth highest-rated defensive tackle in Madden, showcasing some very impressive attributes. He has a 98 strength, and will rarely lose a one on one battle. Suh also has a power-move rating of 95, which allows him to power through an offensive lineman, tossing him to the side like a sack of potatoes. His block shedding is equally as good, possessing a 92 rating. This allows for him to disengage from a block, causing mayhem in the backfield.

Much like his NFL counterpart, Ndamukong Suh is a freakish athlete. He possess elite strength and abilities that can impact a game. I look forward to playing with Ndamukong Suh in Madden 17.
