The Splash Zone 7/19/16: Dolphins Sign Running Back Arian Foster

splash_zone.0.png
Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.

The Dolphins have worked out Arian Foster again and have reevaluated him. Foster will sign with the team and the contract is for one year. I like the move and I'm glad the team decided to kick the tires on the running back. Foster, who is 30, will be coming of a torn Achilles tendon injury and is expected to be a contributor. The Dolphins were in need of a veteran presence in the running back room. The running back situation is going to be interesting to watch heading forward with a battle between Foster and Jay Ajayi, with Kenyan Drake seeing some time. Plus the moves allow Ajayi to continue developing.

You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day's round-up below.
