Normally when you think of an NFL rookie minicamp, you will probably be thinking of rookies on the practice field practicing against each other. However, Adam Gase doesn't care what you think. In Gase's first season as a head coach, he is going to hold a rookie minicamp where there will be no practicing. NONE. Instead, Gase is going to treat it as a sort of orientation and teach the rookies about the Dolphins schemes and playbook. Gase also wants the rookies to develop life skills where the team will talk about nutrition, financial planning, sports science, and learning to deal with the media.
