Miami Dolphins mock draft database 5.0: Final look at projections ahead of round one

The NFL Draft begins in just a few hours. As we prepare for the actual draft, we take one last look at the Miami Dolphins mock draft database, the fifth full update of the database. Collected below are 104 difference mock drafts, with their pick for the Dolphins. And, as you will soon see, the "consensus" pick for the Dolphins has drastically changed.

As always, we would like to thank Adam Stites from SB Nation, who put together the interactive pie charts this year.

For the last time in 2016, here is the Miami Dolphins mock draft database, listing the pick for the Dolphins with the 13th overall selection:

Now, you can see the massive swings in the database. In the 4.0 update, Vernon Hargreaves was leading with 15.4% of the mock selections. That amount would not even rank second anymore, and Haregreaves is not in either of those positions. Running back Ezekiel Elliott has jumped from 12.5% of the selections to nearly double that at 24%, leading the way for the Dolphins' pick.

Behind Elliott, Eli Apple has now climbed into the second position, having moved from just 6.6% of the selections last time. The "others" category then is third, with 11.5% of the selections - but this is made up of all the players who show up on just one mock draft. Shaq Lawson, Darron Lee, and, finally, Hargreaves each appear in 10.6% of the mock drafts used, while William Jackson III and Jack Conklin each make an appearance in 7.7% of the selections.
