Dolphins sign former Jaguars OT Sam Young

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle the Miami Dolphins has signed former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Sam Young. The report states that Young signed a one-year deal worth $760,000 with only 50 thousand dollars of it fully guaranteed. It is assumed that Young will serve as the Dolphins fourth tackle. Young was originally drafted in the 6th round of the 2010 NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He appeared in three games his rookie season, mostly contributing on special teams. After being waived by the Cowboys at the end of the 2011 training camp he was claimed by the Buffalo Bills. Sam started 4 games for the Bills during the 2012 season before being waived in October of 2013. He was then claimed by the Jaguars. In his time with the Jag's he played in 20 games, mostly contributing on special teams with 6 starts at right tackle.
