The Miami Dolphins official team website announced the restructuring of Ndamukong Suh and Koa Misi's contract. Just a few days ago, Kevin Nogle, our esteemed leader, let us know of the potential of Misi agreeing to new terms. Dolphins fans have been discussing the restructuring of Suh at length. Now, we know both have happened.
With the reallocation of funds, the Dolphins appear poised to pursue someone in free agency and/or sign some of our own. The speculation will really take off as to the real impetus for the restructurings. Do the Dolphins have someone specific in mind? Who do you see as primary targets for the Dolphins? Is this simply to give us more flexibility to re-sign Vernon and Miller? Is this to open up space for Danny Trevathan, Janoris Jenkins, or Mario Williams?
Time will tell what the Dolphins plan to do with the new cap space. Will we spend it wisely?
