Considered to be one of the league's top assistant coaches, Jim Washburn is bringing his coaching talent to the Miami Dolphins. When Adam Gase was hired, it was rumored that Jim and his son Jeremiah would be joining the Dolphins staff. At the time, Jeremiah was the only one brought on, but news broke yesterday that his father would be joining him. Jim has spent the past three seasons as the Detroit Lions defensive line coach, so he gets to be reunited with Ndamukong Suh. Jim's official coaching title for the Dolphins is senior defensive assistant/pass rush specialist.
