Thursday's rumors thread: C.J. Anderson, Sean Smith, Jermon Bushrod
SIGNED: The Dolphins signed Jermon Bushrod on Wednesday. The team could look to push Bushrod inside to the guard position, or they could have plans to play Ja'Wuan James or Branden Albert at guard, with Bushrod at tackle. Whatever the case, it appears the Dolphins' first step to addressing the offensive line was to add a tackle.
The Patriots are making an effort to sign 7-Eleven. Buffalo Bills wide receiver Chris Hogan, a restricted free agent, is getting an offer sheet from the Patriots.
The Dolphins officially restructured the contract of Byron Maxwell.
Miami is hosting Josh Robinson on Friday. Robinson has spent his first four years with the Vikings and could provide some depth at cornerback, potentially starting opposite Maxwell.
Brent Grimes, released by the Dolphins earlier this week, has signed a two-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Jets will host Robert Griffin III on a free agent visit Friday.
