The 2016 NFL Scouting Combine got interesting on Friday, with the offensive lineman and running backs being the first to participate in on-field activities. Below are the combine results from Fridays events.

Offensive Lineman

If the Dolphins intend on competing in 2016, the team will have to repair the offensive line this off-season.  Newly appointed General Manager Chris Grier, will be tasked with finding a pair of guards to help improve a unit that allowed 45 sacks in 2015.  Throughout his career, Ryan Tannehill has been sacked a combined 184 times, a number that must change if Adam Gase wants to get the most out of his quarterback.

Running Back

The Dolphins have an important decision to make on running back Lamar Miller.  If Miller decides to leave, Miami will rely on Jay Ajayi to step into the starting role.  Miller's decision will also impact what the Dolphins do in Free Agency, as well as the draft. Adam Gase is excited to work with Ajayi, but needs another running back if he wants to run his style of offense.  Gase had two very capable backs in both Denver and Chicago.  Without Miller, the Dolphins will be searching for a running back.
