The Miami Dolphins made two roster moves on Saturday, filling out the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday’s New York Jets game. The team promoted rookie tight end Thomas Duarte, the team’s seventh-round pick, from the practice squad, providing depth at a position that, due to injuries, has been down to two players, MarQueis Gray and Dominique Jones. Dion SIms is progressing through the concussion protocol, while starter Jordan Cameron was placed on Injured Reserve due to his own concussion issues.

Cameron is thought to be considering retirement after his fourth concussion in four years.

Vigil was activated from the team’s Non-Football Injury list and is expected to return to his role as an undrafted free agent last year, where he excelled on special teams. Vigil was recovering from a back injury.

Both players could be active for Sunday afternoon’s game, with kickoff set for 1pm ET. This game will be the first meeting between the two AFC East division rivals this season.
