The Los Angeles Rams will make Troy Hill inactive against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday after the cornerback was arrested on Saturday for a DUI. Hill, according to a TMZ report, swerved through multiple lanes of traffic on a Los Angeles freeway around 8am Saturday morning. He then rear-ended a semitruck and failed a field sobriety test administered by police responding to the accident.
The Rams released a statement about the incident, including the announcement that Hill will be inactive:
We are aware of the incident involving CB Troy Hill that occurred Saturday morning. As it is an ongoing legal matter and we are still gathering information, we will have no further comment at this time.
Troy Hill will be inactive for tomorrow’s game versus the Miami Dolphins.
Hill has played in all nine games for the Rams this year, with four starts. He has two passes defensed and 37 tackles.
