Miami Dolphins Fantasy Sit/Start: Week 11

Here’s who to start for the Dolphins in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams.

FOUR IN A ROW! How about those Dolphins?! Miami is rolling and trying to end their 10-day road trip with their fifth win in a row. Tannehill showed some serious accuracy and poise under pressure to deliver two touchdowns, I hope you were smarter than I and started him last week. Jay Ajayi was mostly held in check by the Chargers scoring in single digits for the first time in four games. We will see if the Dolphins can keep it rolling and here’s who I think will be standouts this Sunday.

Note: The point projections are based on a standard PPR league scoring (0.5 PPR) with fractional points.

START

Jay Ajayi (RB) – Yahoo Fantasy Projection: 14.16 PTS

Well it had to stop eventually and Ajayi had his streak of 100+ yard performances ended by the Chargers last week. Ajayi finished with 79 yards, but looks to get back to triple digits in Los Angeles. The Rams are allowing an average of 103 yards per game, this looks to be a much more favorable matchup for J-Train.

Jarvis Landry (WR) – Yahoo Fantasy Projection: 11.60 PTS

Landry is struggling to register on the fantasy radar the last few weeks and put up his sixth straight game under 100 yards. But we all know that Landry makes his fantasy points up in receptions more than yardage and I believe this is the week Landry gets hot. (Fingers crossed)

Dolphins Defense/Special Teams – Yahoo Fantasy Projection: 8.69 PTS

The Dolphins put together one week of rush stopping defense combined with some great interceptions. This couldn’t come at a better time as the Dolphin defense now faces the young Jared Goff in his first career NFL start. I can imagine that Cameron Wake and Ndamukong Suh are licking their chops at the prospect of welcoming of Goff to the NFL.

SIT

Ryan Tannehill (QB) - Yahoo Fantasy Projection: 14.85 PTS

Tannehill is coming off one of his most impressive performances of his career with zero turnovers and 240 passing yards with two touchdowns. It’s possible that Tannehill puts up two great fantasy starts in a row, but I think it’s going to be all Ajayi this week against the Rams soft rush defense.

Kenny Stills/DeVante Parker (WR) - Yahoo Fantasy Projection: 6.11/10.01 PTS

I’m officially never separating these two wide receivers in my fantasy projections for the remainder of the season. They are complete wildcards for fantasy production either of them may bust open a game with a big play or may become ghosts just wandering aimlessly in the defensive backfield. I don’t see these two making a huge impact, but at the same time they may grab a 70-yard touchdown. You never know.
