According to Chris Mortensen’s Twitter account, Jared Goff will be making his 1st professional start for the Los Angeles Rams against the Miami Dolphins this Sunday. The quarterbacks for the Rams were made aware this morning of the change, per Mort’s report.
The Rams offense has been stagnant this season with Case Keenum at the helm, ranking near the bottom in rushing (29th) and passing (25th) offense, as well as 32nd in scoring offense. Yet, the team boasts a 4-5 record heading into the clash with the Dolphins in Los Angeles.
Shameless plug: we’ll be doing an interview with the Los Angeles Rams SB Nation blog this evening on Phinsider Radio at 9:00 p.m. EST to get the local scoop on how Rams nation feels about the move, and what we can expect on Sunday.
Do you think this alters the Dolphins defensive game plan, or is the Keenum-to-Goff switch a moot point to Vance Joseph? We’ll find out.
