The Phinsider contributor picks pool is back for the NFL’s Week 5 slate of games. Every week, a group of the authors and editors from The Phinsider put together our straight-up winners picks for the NFL schedule, running the pool all the way through the regular season. At the end of the 256 games, we see which one of us was able to best predict the outcomes of the games.

Currently, Houtz is leading the way with a 40-23 overall record, while I am one game back at 39-24. Kdog92 is another game back at 38-25, then a gap starts to form, where Alex Parish and SUTTON are tied at 35-28. Chris “Duke” Early is currently sitting at 34-29 on the year, with Jordan Oyer and James McKinney a full seven games behind Houtz at 33-30.

(And, yes, as you would probably guess, James is pouting over his poor performance so far this season...)

Our Week 4 results saw me win at 10-5 for the 15 games on the schedule, while SUTTON, Jordan Oyer, and Houtz all came in at 9-6 for the week. Duke, James McKinney, and Alex Parish all finished 8-7. Kdog92 brought up the rear at 7-8 on the season.

Here are our Week 5 picks:

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers

New England Patriots at Cleveland Browns

Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions
