The Miami Dolphins get their second shot at a division rival this season, having already lost to the New England Patriots, when they welcome the Buffalo Bills to South Florida in Week 7. The Dolphins have lost the last two meetings between the two clubs, and five of the last six. A week after upsetting the Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami will have to have another strong performance from both sides of the ball in order to turn around their recent struggles within the division.
The Bills come into this week’s game with the number one rushing-offense in the league, but could be without starting running back LeSean McCoy, the league’s second-leading rusher, as he deals with a hamstring injury sustained during the week. The Bills have officially listed him as “questionable” for Sunday, but reports have him ranging from being a game-time decision at best to out for several weeks at worst.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins come into Week 7 with the 31st ranked rush defense this season, allowing 147.0 yards per game. That ranking could take a hit this week with the loss of safety Reshad Jones, who often plays as a fourth linebacker in running situations, due to a season-ending rotator cuff injury.
