The Splash Zone 10/11/16: Dolphins Awarded Bene Benwikere Off Waivers

The Dolphins were awarded cornerback Bene' Benwikere off waivers yesterday. Benwikere was waived by the Carolina Panthers after allowing Julio Jones to have 300 receiving yards. He played a big part in the Panthers defense last season and the release surprised a lot of people. The Dolphins need all the help they can get right now and it will be interesting to how he fits on this defense. To make room for the newly acquired cornerback, the Dolphins placed linebacker Koa Misi on injured reserve.
